What is CoTour?

CoTour is Realla’s free virtual meeting room experience, which allows users to invite their team and clients to co-browse properties with them. Users can invite team members from anywhere in the world to browse Realla’s thousands of listings, together.

 

Can I virtually view buildings and spaces through CoTour?

Yes, CoTour allows you to virtually view Realla’s thousands of listings with your team, in real-time. Click on the CoTour logo on the Realla home page to

 

Is CoTour a private and secure meeting room?

Yes, only registered users can launch CoTour meeting rooms, and any participants they invite will receive a unique access code to enter the meeting. There is no share link as to avoid privacy breaches.

 

Does this feature cost me anything?

This is a free feature. You will need to register as a free Realla user to be a meeting organizer.

 

Once the meeting begins, can I invite more people to join my room?

Yes, the meeting organizer can add more people to the room by clicking the add people icon in the top right corner of your screen, and entering their email addresses.

 

How do I join the meeting room as a participant?

If you have been invited to a CoTour meeting, you will receive an invitation via email with the subject line, “Realla CoTour invitation from [contact name] – PLEASE JOIN NOW.” In the email body, you will find a link to the CoTour access page, and a unique 4-digit access code. Please click accept when prompted to give CoTour access to your microphone and camera. Enter your name, enter your 4-digit code, and click ‘Join Meeting.’

 

What does the red dot on my screen mean?

The red dot means that your camera is currently being used in the meeting. It does not mean that your meeting is being recorded.

 

What browsers are supported for this feature?

Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Please feel free to use the tool linked here to see whether your browser is supported and to help you enable audio and camera functionality: https://test.webrtc.org/.

 

Do I need to be a registered Realla user to launch a CoTour meeting?

Yes. If you are not already registered, please click ‘Sign Up’ from the Realla’s home page (on the left-hand side of the navigation bar). Within minutes, you will be registered and able to launch a meeting.

 

Can I record a meeting?

Currently, you cannot record your virtual meeting. This is, however, being considered as an option for a

future release.

 

Is there a limit to how many participants I can invite to a meeting?

CoTour comfortably allows 20 participants to be in a meeting at a time.

 

Is there a time limit to the meeting room?

Yes, the time limit on CoTour meeting rooms is 4 hours. If you’d like to continue co-browsing after the time expires, you can launch a new meeting and continue your search.

 

Is there a chat or note-taking feature in the meeting room?

The current version of CoTour does not include a chat or note-taking feature. This is, however, being considered as an option for a future release.

 

What does insufficient bandwidth mean, and how do I fix it?

Bandwidth refers to your network’s overall throughput, and insufficient bandwidth means that your internet connectivity is weak. Please check your internet connection and make sure that the connectivity is strong and uninterrupted. This feature works best with a stronger Wi-Fi connection.

 

Why isn’t CoTour available on mobile?

CoTour is currently only available on desktop. In the future, CoTour will be released on mobile.

 

Why is my camera not working?

When you click on Join Meeting, please click accept when prompted to give CoTour access to your camera. Please feel free to use the following link for help with setting up your browser and camera: https://test.webrtc.org/.

 

Why is a microphone not working?

Can I schedule a meeting for a later date and time?

Currently, CoTour does not support scheduling a meeting for a specific day and time. This is, however, being considered as an option for a future release.
